ONE ORGANIZER

When Kat first started doing events, it was a simple motive: She wanted her students at the Ferocity Dance Company to have access to some incredible dancers, while making it affordable. Rather than keeping the instruction for her Company only, she decided to create events so that the entire community could learn from new people and be exposed to new ideas and styles of bachata and that's how the DC Bachata Masters was born. Originally a single artist and single day event, it became the Masters of Bachata Takeover in 2016 and officially became a weekender, bringing multiple artists together with varied specialties in Bachata to work with the public. She values education and community connection which is why our event is one ballroom for everything - everyone together working towards their goals!
